Now, let's make squares with sides the length of Fibonacci numbers and arrange them together, so that they form a rectangle. Now when you join the two opposite edges of squares you get a curve: The Fibonacci Spiral.
It looks familiar, right?
Think, isn't the shape of the universe the same spiral?

Now if you take two consecutive numbers from the sequence (like 2&3,3&5,21&34) and divide the bigger number by the smaller ones, the average number you’ll get is 1.6103399...
Which is the Golden Ratio. Denoted by Greek letter phi, Φ.
What’s so special about it?
Well, divide the length of your arm with the length of your forearm. You will get a number similar to this.
Also, if you divide the length of your whole body by half its length (till navel) that’s the answer you get. The Golden Ratio.
The Ratio of the major and minor groove of the DNA molecule is also the Golden Ratio.
Enough of real-life examples, now let's delve a little into the art world.
You might have heard about the Rule of Thirds. It is simplified version of Golden ratio.
Golden Ratio in Photography-Artworks of Leonardo Da Vinci like The Last Supper, Mona Lisa, etc shows dimensions based on the Golden Ratio.
Michelangelo's work, The creation of Adam.

The Golden Ratio is present in various living and nonliving entities. Due to its overwhelming presence throughout nature, it is often revered as divine. Hence, it is also known as the Divine Proportion.

Numbers are present all around us in many fascinating forms. The least we can do is observe and appreciate.
