Cinderella story revisited...

Long long ago there was a Cinderella, yes you're right the same Cinderella who lost her shoe and her prince charming found her! However, Cinderella in this story is more realistic and relatable, unlike the traditional one! Over the years, she learnt many lessons, one of which was the most valuable one and it hit home perfectly. 

The lesson was to stand up for YOURSELF. This was something she learnt the hard way, after almost losing herself, at a point in life. She realized that she is the only one responsible for her betterment. She then decided to be THE main character of her story and not some damsel in distress who needs a prince in shining armour to her rescue! 

She took the reigns of her life into her own hands and started to find answers to all her curiosity and she also fought her fair share of demons So dear readers, our Cinderella now decided that she has had enough of sneaking around at night in a ball gown and high heels with the fear of people judging her and of doing things just because they are expected of her despite having zero interest in them. That's how Cinderella took control of her life and owned her story.

To all the Cinderellas out there she says, it's time to replace those stupid heels with comfy sneakers, it's time to replace that tight corset with a terrific dress and that makeup with confidence! Make confidence in your voice, and let it be strong and loud. Trust me, the world will stop and listen to you just like you did my story! 

Own your story. Have the guts to be the main character and the world will revolve around you as a sidekick!

A World of Sparkly Pink Shoes

As usual, Momma took me to the park today. She was carrying me on her side, and I was wearing my AFO shoes as usual.
